The message I received is that they do not accept caravans or motorhomes: Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, we are unable to receive motorhomes and/or caravans. We only have space for campervans ? ? cars and or 4x4 with roof tents and tents ?️ Thank you for your interest and we hope you find the perfect place for your holidays.

Upon our arrival at Quinta Sol Poente, we were kindly welcomed by Nuno and his wife Brunna. After a short off road across their property, we arrived at a beautiful spot right next to the swimming pool. The pool is the former water reservoir of their country and is refreshing for a swim on a hot day, only between October and February the pool is closed. We really like camping in nature and at this place you really get the feeling that you are standing in rugged nature. There are several corners on the property where you can relax and enjoy the view. We stayed with our camper van and slept wonderfully. In the morning we awoke by the rising sun. At the house of the family there is a simple sanitary facility that you can use. Do not expect luxury from a four star campsite, but experience wild camping in a beautiful surrounding. The location of this place is perfect, ancient city of Silves is only (3 minutes car) & ( 20 minutes walk) ,and is highly recommended to visit, its located inland and as you drop down into the town the skyline is dominated by the imposing castle & church on the top of the hill. The entire town is beautiful and you can take a walk through the streets to find it's architecture, the museums, the monuments scattered about. It's a must to visit the castle, after then head back down for something to eat or drink, you will find nice restaurants with terraces, just ask your hosts before you go and they will tell you about their selection.
