October 2022. I hadn't been back since 2017. No improvement. It is a car park without services. Just a tap. The ground is very bumpy and inclined. There is a good 30-minute "climb" to visit the very beautiful village...and another to climb up to the castle. It is not an area even if overnight stays are authorized. Monsanto Village deserves much moreBe careful, in the village, ice cream and drinks are at "tourist" prices.

Pretty little village square to park and visit Monsanto and the castle. There is a fountain in the square and toilets.A very nice grandpa tells you where to park and the direction to take to go to the village by offering you lemons. There is a bar and a grocery store on the square. We spent one night here.

Monsanto, beautiful, you cannot miss it, the parking is in Relation, 1 km from Monsanto, in a small walk, I park in the area, and there are services, very clean, in addition, it offers that area even free WIFI, I was spending the night two days, and very well, in the square, all quiet, a typical Portuguese town.
