I was in June, the area is quite isolated, but there are almost always other campers there.Sleeping here puts you in a position to visit the castle when it opens (10:00). We had a good time and were in the company of 3 other campers. It was nice to stop at night in the middle of the forest, it was worth it.

Beautiful medieval castle to visit, the majority of the rooms are open to visit in season. Superb views of the Alsace Plain and the Swiss Alps.Parking along the road, all around the castle. No parking at night. Restaurant on site.
