Superb camping, quiet, shallow sandy beach safe for children and supervised. Sanitary clean, very good restaurant Cretan products. We rented a car at Kissamos from Rent a Car on the main avenue to the port, which allowed us to crisscross the west of Crete. They are friendly and more is not expensive. We were able to go to the Elafonissi lagoon which is difficult to access with our 7.4m motorhome with nasturtium.
