Clean service area but the surroundings are not reassuring (waste land partly occupied). There is indeed a camera but it points at the fence even though the fence is no more than 1.5m. We listened to our tour of the city because we were not very reassured and therefore did not sleep there. As for the price, €5 for 12 hours is not too expensive, too bad the water is extra. We didn't take the shuttle (not seen it) in the end it's quick to reach the historic center on foot.

It is all paid, parking costs €2 per hour or 12 hours for €5 and 24 hours for €8, apart from water for €2 in theory 100 liters.

Camper parking area at 8.00 euros for 24 hours. loading and unloading, near the center and the castle. basic but useful. thanks Blois
