The 8 January 2023

We arrived at 2:00 in the morning and had no problems pulling up. The site is well signposted with a barrier at the entry that gives you a ticket. You then park up where you can find room. The first thing you have to do is go to the Information office in town and buy a tourist pass which gives you a discount on the parking price, free bus shuttles and other discounts around town. To get there walk to the opposite end of the car park you entered, up the hill and there is a cut through into car park level -6. From here turn left for your nearest lift to ground level 0 where you can walk into town. After getting your pass you can sort out electric. Take the lift to level -1 and walk towards the barriers. In the middle of the entrance and exit, right at the opposite end to the lift you used to get to floor zero, you will find a small office when you will need 20 chf or euros deposit in cash only which will get you a key for the electric cupboard. There are plenty of electric spaces but you might need a very long extension lead as they are all parked on the cliff side of the car park. It costs you 5 chf per day which you pay for at the end of your trip. The water hose is very short and in the ladies toilet. You cannot attach onto the tap unless you have a hose to hose connection. This is the only fresh water tap in the winter and unfortunately we saw people putting the hose in their toilet box to wash it out just before I had to use it to fill my fresh water tank. Please don’t do that for the sake of others. We needed to buy a 10L watering can to fill our under slung tank as I couldn’t find any containers provided. After you have the tourist pass you can shower in the local pool for 10 chf per day if needed. The toilets are pretty clean and open all the time. The rubbish disposal is a Swiss classic with recycling for every type of waste so unless you want to go fishing through it after I’d recommend separating all recyclables from other waste so you have a cleaner rubbish sort in the rubbish shed. Happy camping and hopefully this will help others

Convenient, accessible electricity, clean and well maintained toilets. Possibility of emptying waste water and toilets. Provide a container (for example a watering can) to recharge with clear water (to take from the toilet sink).Ideal location for access to the village and the ski lifts !!
