A very nice campsite on the Moselle     A great place, a bit noisy (highway, motorway and train service) and unfortunately an aging sanitary facility. If the sanitary facilities were new and clean, you could overlook the noise. As a wine lover Winningen is worth a trip for me. Unfortunately, the Vinothek in Winningen has strange opening times. Restaurants in Winningen are only sparsely opened. I do not really know what attracts tourists, except hiking and good wine, to Winningen.

Beautiful open parkland type site, pitch anywhere, lovely views of river Mosel & great bar/restaurant, food was lovely.
