We spent two nights well parked within the markings with no issues. shaded site. It is one step away from the beach, free. No services. Parking.

All campervans moved on by the police but there are no signs at all to say its illegal to park here!

Great, you get everything by hand, there is a lot of life in this area, restaurants, shops ... the parking is great, they don't tell you anything if you park in the row closest to the open field, since it allows you to get all the back of the car to the open field and thus be within the limits of a car space. There are people who have taken 2 seats ❌ (so if they can fine you). You can also park in the dirt area behind, even if it is forbidden to park private property (said by the local police). The parking lot is busy, being large and central, but at night it is illuminated, you sleep very well and you do not have to wear shoes.
