free motorhome parking behind the church I have a 7M45 no problem to park but the ground is very sloping so to your wedges and have a good holiday

This is a large carpark beside a church/graveyard with a college across the road. The carpark is on a hill so you will need chocks. It has some shade at the back and beside the graveyard. This carpark was empty in August but that may not be the case during college term. There are no services. There is a tap in the graveyard and bins outside the church. The town is 3 minutes walk away. This town is on the Camino del Norte and the pilgrims pass by the carpark. For a good walk follow the Camino track and signs back out the town. It is quite hilly but has lovely views. You will pass San Miguel de Arretxinaga the famous church within a church. We had a lovely menu del dia in Hotel Vega for €11. This is a perfect stay if you like walking or mountain bikin
