October 2021: I suspect overnighting a large vehicle here is physically possible, but not legal. I saw a 2.75m high 6m long campervan parked here after dark, BUT there is a sign at the entrance forbidding vehicles above 2m high and 5m long. Not wanting to break the rules, we stayed instead at the proper campervan overnighting yard (paid, with services) at "Fabrica Braco de Prata" on "R. Fabrica de Material de Guerra."

Parking 20 minutes walk from Alfama and straight trade square. Something noisy from traffic but quiet to sleep.

Free parking apart from the place. 10 minutes walk from Alfama.noisy to sleep: train and cornice.
