The search for a campsite directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore led us to Camping Delta. The location at the mouth of the Maggia into the lake is really good, as are the sanitary facilities. The site has its own beach with sunbathing areas. Small drawback: at night there was no lighting to at least help with orientation. The bus to Locarno leaves directly from the site every half hour, but the journey can also be easily covered on foot or by bike. As a guest you receive the Ticino Card, which, among other things, grants free travel on buses and trains in Ticino.

Camping very well maintained, sanitary very clean and heated. Small beach on Lake Maggiore. Staff very welcoming and attentive. To recommend !
