This campsite was approached spontaneously and we were greeted nicely by the employees and also got a suitable place for our two mobile homes on the terraced pitches. So we had a wonderful view of the lake up to the Alps. The beach belonging to the campsite not only offers bathing opportunities, there are also play opportunities for the kids. A small shop with bread service, the Brugger Hütte with delicious food, supply and disposal, clean, sanitary facilities, everything a camper's heart desires is available.

Nice campsite right on the lakeWe have chosen a parking space in front of the barrier, because the CP was very well occupied We, a camping bus occupied with two people and a dog, per day € 25.25 including tourist tax paid, shower we had to pay extra € 0.50, thus 26,25 € per day. The course operator and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The CP makes a good overall impression on us. Here and there but could be improved. The sanitary facilities on the CP, toilets and showers, are very modern, very clean and adequate in relation to the parking spaces available. The shower is unfortunately not included in the CP price. The pitch size is sufficient in the inner area, but also a bit narrow, the ground consists of meadow with gravel. In the outdoor area in front of the barrier, where we stood with our bus, some parking spaces for campers and on a side meadow for buses and tents are provided. Very simple, but very pleasant for us, because not parceled and close to the lake. In the outdoor area are each a toilet, a cold rinse area for the kitchen utensils and a Frischwasserzapfstelle, this should possibly be cleaned on the floor (plates), looks a bit dirty. The visitor of the outdoor area can of course use all sanitary facilities indoors. Special service: Restaurant with beer garden (very friendly service) and a kiosk run by two very friendly people. Here you can buy next to the everyday every day fresh bread and that without pre-order. The special but for dog owners is that there is a private large meadow with lake access, which can be reached on foot in just 5 minutes. Finally a campsite, where we as dog owners have the feeling, here is something for the dog (4.50 €) done. I have heard so synonymous of other campers who have visited this meadow with dog. Often campsites require € 5.00 for the dog and offer no dog bags except service. As far as the environment is concerned, the CP can be used for short or long hikes. The 9 km Riegsee hiking trail leads over the CP once around the lake, very flat and therefore good for everyone. Also bicycle tours can be carried out from here comfortably. We have the Riegsee trail, twice a hike to Murnau and one to Uffingen, partly around the Staffelsee, made from the square. All walks are easy to handle.
