The Province of Navarra is situated in the north of Spain, near the French border. It is known to be a land of diversity and tradition as it is a large region with many natural and cultural differences between the north and south of the province. In the same way, the climate is very different between the northern and the southern part of the province; in the north the climate is much more humid while in the south it is more Mediterranean.
Navarra is also famous for its festive atmosphere. The most important of all the festivities, that takes part in the city and the capital of Pamplona, this is the San Fermin festival also known as Sanfermines.
