Today, curfew measures apply across France. So from Saturday January 16th 2021 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., non-essential movements will be prohibited. The aim of the curfew is to limit gatherings during which barrier gestures are less well respected and where the virus circulates quickly.
According to the risk of the spread of COVID-19, french borders will be controlled. From Monday January 18th 2021, travelers coming from a country outside the European Union will have to present a negative test to enter the national territory.
Be careful if you are traveling to France, be well informed, each local authority can apply additional measures by prefectural decree. A certificate of exceptional travel is available outside of curfew hours.

Overall, at European level, all gathering places: restaurants, bars, museums, cinemas, etc. remain closed to the public for the moment.
